The Logistics Center

SLE’s logistics center is one of Israel’s largest and most advanced facilities for the storage and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Anyone traveling along Highway 6 cannot miss the impressive facility, which was designed according to green building principles and built to meet the stringent standards and regulatory requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.

Since its inauguration in 2011, the logistics center has supported every stage of the supply chain, from goods receipt, inspection, and storage to picking, packaging, and distribution to pharmacies, logistics centers, hospitals, healthcare organizations, and medical institutions throughout Israel.

The facility operates under tightly controlled temperature and humidity conditions and incorporates robust security and business continuity measures designed to ensure uninterrupted operations, even during emergencies and challenging conditions. This commitment enables SLE to maintain the highest standards of quality, reliability, and supply chain integrity.

Our logistics operation is powered by some of the world’s most advanced automation technologies and is continuously evolving through investment in innovation, process optimization, and complementary automation solutions.

The Numbers Tell the Story

While the capabilities of our logistics center can be described in many ways, its scale and performance are best reflected through the numbers:

• Approximately 80,000 m² of site area, including a 50,000 m² logistics facility (subject to final verification)
• The building extends approximately 400 meters in length and rises to a height of 42 meters
• Through 82 loading and unloading bays, we operate approximately 130 trucks and distribution vehicles daily
• Advanced storage and picking operations are supported by 11 automated cranes and conveyor systems spanning a total length of 2.1 kilometers

Storage Capacity & Operational Scale

The logistics center accommodates approximately 75,000 pallet locations across multiple storage configurations and temperature-controlled environments, including:

• Thousands of refrigerated storage locations maintained at 2°C–8°C
• Hundreds of secured vault storage locations designated for narcotics and controlled substances
• Dedicated deep-freeze storage locations for temperature-sensitive products
• More than 100 million items supplied annually to the Israeli market
• Approximately 1,000,000 orders processed annually across roughly 20,000 SKUs (subject to final verification)
• SLE’s distribution fleet reaches more than 1,000 delivery points every day
• More than 1,500 packages picked every hour
